Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. As an RN Emergency PRN Nights, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, prioritizing their physical and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop effective care plans.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare employees, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- May be asked to assume charge nurse responsibilities for a shift or period.
Requirements
- Current Arizona State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- 1 year of acute care experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in specialty area of practice (e.g., ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NRP).
- Basic computer skills and ability to work effectively in an electronic health record (EHR) system.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level III NICU or equivalent.
