Job Description:

This position involves teaching adult health nursing courses to undergraduate students. The successful candidate will have a master's or doctoral degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution and an unencumbered Texas RN license. At least two years of recent experience in nursing education or a related field is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and evaluate student performance in adult health nursing courses.
  • Prepare and deliver lectures, discussions, and other instructional materials.
  • Mentor students in clinical settings and provide guidance on professional development.
  • Stay current with best practices in nursing education and incorporate them into teaching activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A master's or doctoral degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Licensure as a registered nurse in Texas.
  • At least two years of recent experience in nursing education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
