Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Monitor Technician include:

  • Continuous observation and identification of various cardiac rhythms.
  • Accurate documentation and communication of any changes to the assigned nursing staff.
  • Responding promptly to inquiries from physicians regarding patient status.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is advantageous.
