Responsibilities:


In the role of Telecom Construction Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of utility construction for various telecom projects.

You will lead a team of construction experts to ensure high-quality outcomes in a safety-focused environment. You are committed to excellence and ready to take on challenges.

This position requires expertise in wireline roles, specifically in coax and fiber construction management.

Additionally, you will:
Provide outstanding customer service when addressing escalated issues

Direct multiple crews and their site activities

Monitor project schedules against deadlines

Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget

Coordinate crew schedules, assign tasks, review project timelines and expectations, and oversee work performance and quality

Participate in the hiring process and maintain all employment-related documentation (e.g., new hire forms, separation documents, employment data changes)

Promote a safe working environment, holding crews accountable for safety practices

Prepare and interpret technical documents, including drawings, graphs, maps, blueprints, bids, contracts, proposals, and specifications. Identify and resolve any blueprint discrepancies before and during construction

Identify and manage subcontractors, ensuring their tasks are performed correctly and inspecting any relevant personnel/contractors

Take responsibility for all personnel and any vehicles or equipment under your control

Engage in meetings with senior operations management, peers, and/or clients

Participate in project estimation, bidding, contract negotiations, and change order preparation

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

You possess 3-5 years of experience managing telecom construction projects

You have knowledge of the telecom construction industry, including Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, and map reading

You enjoy troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise in the field

You have prior site management experience while maintaining positive relationships with clients and suppliers

You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Project, and can learn custom software quickly
