Strategic HR Manager for Healthcare Operations

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Strategic HR Manager to join our team in managing human resources functions, leveraging shared services, and driving workforce development initiatives across 150 locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Collaboration: Represent Human Resources and provide professional counsel to HR team, health system leaders, and staff. Build relationships with UPHS Shared Services Leaders and Regional Practices Executive Team to identify HR needs and create HR plans.
- Workforce Management: Develop and implement workforce management strategies to achieve short- and long-term goals. Partner with Penn Medicine shared services in process design, implementation, and ongoing process management.
- HR Integration and Alignment: Provide leadership for HR integration and alignment activities within and across PMMG. Act as a resource and advisor to leadership in facilitating change and employee relations.
- Employee Engagement: Communicate to Human Resources staff the importance of patient satisfaction and quality of care. Ensure employee satisfaction by measuring organizational health and developing action plans.
- Recruitment and Talent Development: Partner with UPHS's shared services Staffing Department on recruitment activities and job design. In administer compensation plans, improve HR processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, evaluate, and reward Human Resources staff to provide excellent service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- 7+ years of progressively responsible HR managerial and supervisory experience (Required)
- PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP (Preferred)
- Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Preferred)
Estimated Salary Range:$110,000 - $140,000 per year
