We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellness Center and SESC Program Coordinator to join our team at the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing educational, social, recreational, health-promoting, and inspirational programming for seniors at two south Philly locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate activities for consumers in the Wellness Center, located at St. John Neumann Place II and at St. Edmond Senior Community Center.
- Facilitate participant meetings and work with other CHCS personnel to address the needs and interests of center participants.
- Meet service objectives related to Center programming at both locations and manage program budgets.
- Prepare monthly program calendars, flyers, and other outreach materials to promote the Wellness Center and SESC.
- Participate in Outreach efforts to attract new consumers and work collaboratively with the team to deliver culturally responsive services.
- Minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least two years of additional education or experience in a related field or position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to facilitate groups and work independently.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with solid attention to detail.
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during work hours.
- Lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc. up to 50 pounds.
- Travel between work sites (3/4 mile) during the course of some workdays.
