Work Schedule:

Full-Time (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the company vehicle while ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.
  • Maintain the vehicle, including cleaning, fueling, and conducting inspections.
  • Transport clients and packages to designated locations.
  • Ensure timely arrivals at all destinations.
  • Handle administrative tasks, such as office pickups.
  • Plan for potential traffic, construction, and weather-related delays.
  • Utilize navigation tools to identify optimal routes.
  • Keep the vehicle fueled and ready for operation.
  • Coordinate necessary vehicle repairs.
  • Maintain accurate mileage and repair records.
  • Adhere to CHNS policies regarding health screenings, safety protocols, and compliance with applicable safety regulations.
  • Exercise caution and sound judgment in unpredictable situations.
  • Identify and report potential hazards.
  • Respect the rights and privacy of residents, clients, and participants.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must effectively perform each essential duty. The following qualifications are necessary:

  • Proven driving experience.
  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully execute the essential functions of this position. While performing these duties, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, feel, reach, talk, hear, see, drive, and assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

While performing essential functions, employees may occasionally encounter conditions such as snow, rain, thunderstorms, long drives, parking challenges, and the need for flexibility.
