Job Summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in a clinic setting. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preliminary patient assessments to ensure accurate and efficient care.
  • Prepare patients for healthcare providers, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.
  • Administer medication and/or vaccinations as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Collect blood samples and perform EKGs as needed.
Requirements
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required; non-certified medical assistants will be required to become certified after hire.
  • American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Medical Assistant experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
