JOB SUMMARY

This role is essential for ensuring a hygienic and secure Facility/Warehouse environment. The individual will execute tasks in accordance with Preferred Work Methods (PWM).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Eliminate all waste and litter from the warehouse and loading dock areas.
  • Address any spills of products or other contaminants.
  • Operate cleaning machinery, including power scrubbers and walk-behind sweepers.
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse surfaces, including walls, floors, shelving, and doors.
  • Ensure the facility's exterior, including grounds, lighting, and parking areas, are clean.
  • Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker facilities.
  • Adhere to the daily cleaning schedule as directed by the supervisor to maintain a consistent sanitation program.
  • Uphold a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent.

Experience

  • Prior sanitation experience in a warehouse setting is highly preferred.

  • While executing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The employee frequently must utilize hands and fingers with precision to handle or manipulate objects, tools, or controls. The employee is often required to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and utilize taste/smell senses.
  • The employee must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
