JOB SUMMARY

This role is crucial for ensuring a hygienic and secure environment within the facility and warehouse. The technician will execute tasks in accordance with Preferred Work Methods (PWM).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Eliminate all waste and debris from warehouse and loading dock areas.
• Address any product spills or foreign matter promptly.
• Utilize equipment such as power scrubbers and sweepers effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse surfaces including walls, floors, and storage racks.
• Ensure the facility's exterior, including grounds and parking areas, is well-kept.
• Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker areas.
• Adhere to the daily cleaning schedule set by the supervisor to maintain consistent sanitation practices.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent.

Experience:

• Prior sanitation experience in a warehouse setting is highly preferred.

• Regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly. Frequent use of hands and fingers for dexterous tasks is necessary. The employee will often need to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and utilize taste/smell senses.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
