Byrne Zizzi, CPA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Associate to join our team. As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be responsible for performing complex tax preparation, research, and planning. You will work closely with our tax managers and directors to deliver comprehensive, long-term tax strategies and consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations.
  • Recognize and resolve tax issues, making recommendations to management as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships by providing timely and unmatched client service.
  • Collaborate with tax managers and directors to deliver comprehensive tax strategies and consulting services.
  • Assist in the development of other team members by providing guidance and work direction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Three years' tax experience at a CPA firm.
  • Current CPA license or CPA eligible working towards obtaining license.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge working with spreadsheets, including creating formulas, lookups, and analysis.
