We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Estimator to join our team at Convergent Drywall, a leading commercial drywall contractor in the Austin market.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in commercial framing, drywall, and ACT systems. They must be proficient in On-Screen Takeoff & Quick Bid and possess self-starter and leader qualities.
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key responsibilities include:
- Compiling comprehensive estimates for projects less than $1mm
- Analyzing labor, material, and time requirements for each scope and task
- Communicating with general contractors and subcontractors to ensure bids are received and completed
- Preparing accurate quantitative takeoffs and providing value engineering suggestions
- Presenting completed bids and proposals to clients
This position offers an excellent base salary of $95,000 + benefits including paid time off, health insurance, flexible schedule, and gas/truck allowance.
