We are seeking a highly skilled Software Integration Specialist to join our team at Praxis Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software tools and services in a PaaS Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement software tools and services using Kubernetes, Docker, and other cutting-edge technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in large Linux clusters.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Administer and monitor Kubernetes clusters.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python.
Requirements
  • Experience with Linux CLI and scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Knowledge of compute, network, memory, and storage system components.
  • Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with system monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with Git version control.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Helm and Kubernetes application deployment.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications.
Clearance

Active TS/SCI clearance with an appropriate polygraph is required for this role.
