About the Role

As a Wellness Services Manager at Blossom Creek by Cogir, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellness of our residents. We are seeking an experienced RN with a passion for serving seniors to join our management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess residents' health, functional, and psychosocial status, initiating individualized service plans to maximize their opportunity to remain in the assisted living or memory care environment.
  • Foster a resident-centered approach to planning and delivering services, supporting residents' rights to participate in decision-making and treating them with dignity and respect.
  • Establish and maintain the medication program, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Oversee the hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and termination of employment of licensed nursing staff, Med Techs/CMA/CNAs, and all Care staff.
  • Hands-on training, supervision, and staff development, promoting a positive and energetic atmosphere within the community.
  • Communicate regularly with residents' families regarding healthcare needs, maintaining current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses.
  • Ensure resident records and charting are current and up-to-date, participating in marketing efforts by representing the community positively to outside agencies.
What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A current RN nursing license in good standing.
  • Minimum 4 years working in geriatric nursing, including experience with medication administration, delivery systems, and pharmacies.
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory/management role; experience with budgets, staff development, training, and scheduling.
  • An associate degree or higher is required; additional coursework in management is an asset.
  • Experience in Memory Care is required.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Maintains current state-required certifications, such as First Aid and CPR.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends, holidays, and overtime, to meet the position's requirements.
  • Capacity to be on-call 24/7.
