About the Role

This Airport Engineering Specialist position requires a highly skilled individual to lead various airport engineering and planning projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical expertise and interpersonal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical guidance and support to the transportation engineering discipline on aviation-related projects, ensuring adherence to FAA design standards and specifications.
  2. Prepare reports, develop project design elements, and estimate costs, leveraging proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  3. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks efficiently and maintaining accurate records.
  4. Develop junior staff through technical mentorship, focusing on design elements and project document development.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with FAA design standards and specifications is necessary.
  • Experience in designing aviation/civil engineering projects, including alignments, profiles, typical sections, site grading, and drainage.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, particularly Word and Excel.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers an annual salary range of $120,000 - $180,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, wellness program, paid vacation, holidays, stock purchase plan, and pre-tax health plans.
