Position Overview
St.

Luke's Health System is seeking a dedicated Adolescent Medicine Specialist with a foundational background in pediatrics, family medicine, or internal medicine to become part of our extensive and collaborative team of pediatric subspecialists.

Preference will be given to candidates with certification or fellowship training in Pediatric Adolescent Medicine, although both board certified and non-board certified applicants will be considered.


Our community, along with our Children's Hospital, is in search of an Adolescent Medicine Specialist to enhance and lead our services across various domains of adolescent healthcare, including primary care, mental health, reproductive health, eating disorders, and substance use issues.

Patient care will primarily be conducted in an outpatient setting, with occasional support to our pediatric hospitalist team through inpatient consultations for cases involving eating disorders and other adolescent medicine challenges.

Luke's Health System is collaborating to establish a pediatric residency program, and this position will involve part-time participation in the education of pediatric residents, with opportunities for deeper engagement in residency and curriculum development available if desired.

Furthermore, St.

Luke's Health System boasts an active Research Department, offering support for research endeavors if interested, although participation in research is not a requirement.

  • Engage with the clinical faculty of the Pediatrics Residency of Idaho, instructing pediatric residents and family medicine residents from various local programs.
  • Mentor medical students from the University of Washington School of Medicine and potentially other regional medical schools (optional).
