Position Overview

The Student Ministry Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Student Pastor at Rocky Mountain Christian Church's Frederick campus. This part-time position involves various administrative responsibilities aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the Student Ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

Quarterly/Semester Tasks:

  • Assist the Student Pastor in organizing and preparing for significant student events, including seasonal activities and special gatherings.
  • Procure necessary resources for students and leaders.

Monthly/Bimonthly Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to fostering a positive volunteer environment.
  • Help coordinate snacks and beverages for Wednesday night gatherings.

Weekly Duties:

  • Participate in and support weekly programming on Wednesday evenings.
  • Collaborate on communications to be distributed by the Student Pastor.
  • Reserve facilities and resources for student-related events.
  • Encourage and support the Influencer Team.
  • Lead weekly meetings for the Influencer Team and provide guidance to students.
  • Manage social media content and scheduling.
  • Oversee the production of weekly YouTube videos from live streams.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and proficient organizational capabilities, with a talent for managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines with precision.
  • Ability to connect with others and provide effective leadership and organizational support.
  • Must be a member of Rocky Mountain Christian Church or willing to become one, embracing the church's Statement of Faith and Staff Values.
