Mathematics Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our team as a long-term substitute for the 2023 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Algebra II, Analysis of Functions, and Calculus I to high school students.

Responsibilities:

• Teach 45-60 minute classes to 9th-12th grade students.
• Promote and advance the cognitive, emotional, social, and physical well-being of students during math classes.
• Implement and adapt curriculum using best practices in mathematics instruction, including differentiation to meet the needs of all students.
• Coordinate and collaborate regularly with other classroom teachers about curriculum and students.
• Communicate with parents as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in Schoology.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree (or higher) in mathematics, secondary education, or a related discipline.
• Math teaching experience, preferably at the secondary level.
• Teaching certification preferred.
