Job Summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of safety and adhere to MSHA and Vulcan standards
  • Drive tractor-trailer combinations or tri-axle dump trucks to transport and deliver materials
  • Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in good working order
  • Submit reports and maintain driver logs according to I.C. regulations
  • Follow standard procedures for equipment maintenance and operation
  • Perform physical activities such as cleaning and lifting
Requirements
  • Related CDL experience and/or training is preferred
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license and current long form physical and medical card
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations
  • Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours
