Job Summary

Flagship Facility Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Staff to join our team. As a Janitorial Staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, and polish floors using industrial equipment and cleaning solutions.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals, and restock supplies as needed.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty waste baskets and replace liners, and ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects such as cleaning overhead vents, dusting blinds, and polishing wood furniture.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
  • Skills: Good listening and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and maintain a neat appearance.
Work Environment

Our facilities are located in a small-to-large office environment, and you will be exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments. You will be required to wear safety glasses while performing certain tasks.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 40 pounds. You will also be required to use industrial equipment and cleaning solutions, and work in a fast-paced environment.
