About the Role

As a Cloud Native Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and deploying programs that leverage AWS Field teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels. You will collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plans. You will also work with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.

About the Team

The WWSO Public Sector team is a team dedicated to helping public sector organizations scale quickly and cost-effectively on AWS. We pride ourselves on thinking big, and delivering exceptional results for our customers. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals who are passionate about cloud computing and public sector innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as with developers and technical architects, to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
  • Become a trusted business advisor within customer accounts through Technical Thought Leadership.
  • Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.
  • Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plans.
  • Work with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in cloud native applications and/or container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Fargate, Docker, Mesos, and others.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
