Key Responsibilities- Conduct security assessments, including vulnerability scans and penetration testing, to identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with senior consultants to analyze and mitigate security risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems.
- Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor security events and provide initial analysis of potential threats, ensuring timely and effective response.
- Assist in the investigation of security incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Help configure security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) and monitor network traffic for anomalies, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
- Stay updated on the latest security technologies, threats, and trends, applying this knowledge to improve our security posture.
- Participate in security awareness training sessions for end-users and clients, promoting a culture of security and awareness.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related roles.
- Basic understanding of networking, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with security assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Wireshark, Metasploit).
- Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP (or willingness to pursue).
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms.
- Basic scripting or programming skills for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
