Connecticut Spring & Stamping is seeking a skilled Source Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Verify Documentation: Review and verify all necessary documentation to ensure it is correct and prepared for shipment.
- Collaborate with Customers: Work with outside source inspectors as needed to meet customer requirements.
- Inspect Products: Visually inspect products for obvious defects and ensure they meet specifications.
- Perform Over-Inspection: Conduct over-inspection to verify the accuracy of final inspection results.
- Record Quality Results: Record quality results on Aerospace required inspection forms.
- Provide Recommendations: Make recommendations on the disposition of questionable products to supervisors.
- Education: High school or technical school education with a mathematics emphasis.
- Experience: Experience with operating gauges and testing equipment.
- Skills: Analytical capabilities to interpret detailed and complex drawings, GD&T skills, and knowledge of Aerospace Requirements.
- Visual Ability: Corrected vision to read directions and prints.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to operate machinery for precision work.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted.
