Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk will provide critical support to the Commercial Accounting Manager in delivering financial, administrative, and clerical services to Bilfinger Inc. This role is primarily responsible for managing site document controls and coordinating new job setups.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily document control needs for the construction group.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files and job setups.
- Monitor client systems for new purchase orders and/or change orders.
- Coordinate paperwork for new jobs and/or changes via email.
- Ensure timely updates of jobs or changes in the system.
- Organize and prioritize daily activities to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Accounting Manager, Site Superintendent, and Construction Managers to resolve issues and ensure accurate setup.
- Assist management with ad-hoc requests, including special projects and initiatives.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office environment.
- Prior accounting experience is preferred.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding customer, client, and employee information.
- Ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of SAP ERP is preferred.
