Veterinary Nursing Leader in Cardiology and Specialty Medicine

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Nursing Supervisor to lead our team of dedicated professionals at Ethos Veterinary Health in Charleston, SC.
The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of our cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, neurology, rehabilitation, and oncology departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among staff members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide direct guidance to specialty department team leads and staff, promoting a professional atmosphere and fostering growth opportunities.
- Staff Development: Oversee the recruitment, performance management, and training of nursing staff to ensure clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Operational Management: Manage daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and shift coordination, to maintain optimal patient care.
- Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate clear and effective communication between staff and leadership, ensuring smooth departmental operations and patient satisfaction.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure hospital policies and procedures are consistently followed, upholding the highest standards of patient care.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in specialty veterinary care, with proven leadership skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
