Salary:$43-$52 per hour
About the Role:The successful candidate will lead and manage a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and technicians, ensuring exceptional care for our patients and their families. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to foster a supportive and professional environment that encourages continuous learning and clinical excellence.
- Leadership & Supervision: Directly supervise and mentor a team of emergency and critical care staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and teamwork.
- Staff Development: Lead recruitment, performance evaluations, and training to ensure top-tier patient care and team performance.
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency & Critical Care department, ensuring smooth workflows and optimal coverage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department leads, hospital leadership, and staff to maintain high standards of care and operational efficiency.
- Communication: Promote open communication and transparency within the team and across departments to address challenges and implement solutions effectively.

Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (preferred)
- Veterinary Technician Specialty Certification (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in specialty or emergency veterinary care
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with diplomacy and professionalism
