Meat Cutter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Boyer's Food Markets, Inc. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut and prepare meat products to meet customer specifications
  • Operate meat cutting equipment, including saws and grinders
  • Wrap and package meat products for display and sale
  • Assist customers with meat purchases and provide product information
  • Maintain a clean and organized meat department
  • Follow all food safety and handling procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in meat cutting or a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Good communication and customer service skills
