We are seeking skilled Meat Cutters and Apprentice Trainees to join our team at Boyer's Food Markets, Inc. As a Meat Cutter Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, working with a top-notch team, and growing with our company.
Key Responsibilities- Follow all store and department policies to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Process customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Promote products through suggestive selling and maintain a clean and organized department.
- Assist customers with specific requests and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist the Meat Manager in monitoring operations to ensure sales and profit are being generated.
- Cut and grind meat to meet company standards.
- Follow proper procedures for credit returns and exchanges.
- Assure that cases are full, clean, and attractive and rotate products.
- Code date product and remove all outdated product or product unfit for sale.
- Set all cases and displays as per instructions.
- Reduce shrink and avoid unnecessary waste.
- Complete next day preparation.
- Assure proper sanitation and organization of the department.
- Assure proper food handling and labeling procedures.
- Follow all department cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Follow all department food handling procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Reading and basic math skills.
- Basic writing skills.
