As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our members while they enjoy our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools. You will work in a fast-paced environment, monitoring the pool deck and maintaining safety on water slides. You will also assist with aquatics events, such as "Dive in Movies" and "Poolapalooza."

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid, ensuring the highest level of safety and care
  • Ensure swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities, promoting a safe and enjoyable experience for all
  • Maintain a clean and orderly pool area, adhering to safety standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
  • Lifeguard and First Aid Certification
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
  • Ability to tread water for 1 minute
  • Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
  • Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs
Preferred Requirements
  • 6 months of customer service experience
