Pace University's Lienhard School of Nursing is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Assistant Professor to join our faculty in the Department of Undergraduate Studies. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position located on our New York City or Westchester campus in Pleasantville, NY.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate nursing courses in a variety of settings, including classroom and clinical environments.
- Develop and implement innovative curricula and teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental and school-wide initiatives.
- Engage in service to the university and the nursing profession through committee work, professional organizations, and community outreach.
- Doctoral degree (DNP, PhD, EdD, or other doctorate) and eligibility for New York State RN licensure.
- Teaching experience in higher education, with a focus on nursing education.
- Relevant practice experience in caring for adult, pediatric, OB, and older adult populations.
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusivity in teaching and service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to departmental and school-wide initiatives.
