About the Job:
The Dietary Operations Manager will supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, nutrition aides, and dishwashers, ensuring they follow dietary guidelines and safety protocols. You will also collaborate with dietitians, nutritionists, and healthcare providers to create and update patient meal plans, ensuring they meet medical, nutritional, and cultural requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dietary Planning and Meal Development: Collaborate with dietitians, nutritionists, and healthcare providers to create and update patient meal plans, ensuring they meet medical, nutritional, and cultural requirements.
- Staff Management and Training: Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, nutrition aides, and dishwashers, ensuring they follow dietary guidelines and safety protocols.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and preparation procedures.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Culinary Arts, or a related field, preferred.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Skillset: Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices.
