Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a CNA at Brighton Hospice, you will play a vital role in providing patient care, supporting our clinical team, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social interaction and reassurance to patients and their families
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, bathroom needs, and physical activity
  • Report changes in patient condition or environment to the attending nurse/RN
  • Support patient teaching and other procedures based on patient plans of care, supported by RNs, therapists, social workers, and chaplains
  • Prepare and submit documentation of observations, findings, and services provided
  • Administer emergency first aid when needed
  • Perform additional, related duties as needed

Requirements
  • Valid CNA certification required
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation in order to travel to patient locations
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to complete patient charting on a daily basis
