Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist II to join our team at Children's Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist II, you will be responsible for planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Speech Language Pathology.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct Speech Language Pathology evaluations and re-evaluations, including assessment of prior and current level of function, setting individualized goals and making discharge recommendations in accordance with standards of practice.
  • Provide direct Speech Language Pathology treatments according to standards of practice, including patient and family education, progression of treatment plan and implementation of appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Report on patient progress through appropriate written documentation including evaluation forms, progress notes, education forms.
  • Collaborate with physicians, patients, family and other members of the health care team relative to patient treatment and progress as well as other affiliated agencies with regard to effective discharge planning.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years previous Speech Language Pathology experience required.
  • Pediatric out-patient experience preferred.
  • Vital Stimulation certified experience in feeding including with infant population.
