City Lifestyle is seeking a skilled Magazine Editor to manage the editorial themes for our Santa Barbara Coast City Lifestyle publication. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising freelance writers and photographers, organizing editorial content, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality publications.
The ideal candidate will have experience in writing, creating content, and leadership skills. A professional demeanor and robust organizational skills are essential for meeting strict deadlines and representing the publication during interviews and community research.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and assigning photography and editorial content for all issues
- Managing relationships with freelance contractors and tracking payments
- Collaborating with local photographers and writers to assign and ensure creative direction
- Working with the local publisher to ensure successful magazine content and target demographic
