Responsibilities

The Staff Nurse, RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to a designated group of patients. The nurse will establish goals and priorities of nursing care, develop a written plan of nursing care, and document care given with patient progress. The RN will work collaboratively with the medical staff in matters of patient care. Additionally, the nurse will participate in unit-based councils and committees to improve patient outcomes and quality of care. We provide critical care for high-risk deliveries and premature infants using state-of-the-art equipment, such as high-frequency ventilation, ECMO, bubble CPAP, noninvasive support, and nitric oxide therapy. Other responsibilities include collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for patients. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or hold a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact. AHA BLS certification is also required prior to end of orientation period. This position offers a salary of approximately $$95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
