Tangram Interiors is seeking a highly skilled Audiovisual Systems Specialist to join our team. As an AV Field Specialist, you will be responsible for the planning, installation, and maintenance of audiovisual systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- System Configuration: Configure audiovisual systems, including hardware, software, and network settings, to ensure optimal performance.
- Network Management: Coordinate with network management entities to provision dedicated networks, including partitioned networks, static/dynamic IP address ranges, and performance levels (QoS, bandwidth, latency, etc.).
- Programming and Loading: Program and load pre-authored code for control, UI, routing, and DSP systems. Develop original code within the scope of your programming abilities and certifications.
- Pre-Commissioning Testing: Conduct thorough testing of systems before commissioning to ensure they meet design specifications.
- System Tuning: Optimize system performance through tuning and adjustments.
- Final Commissioning: Ensure systems are fully functional and meet design intent and specifications.
- Technical Close-Out: Perform specified technical close-out tasks to comply with RFP requirements on consultant-led projects.
- End User Training: Provide training to end users on the operation and maintenance of audiovisual systems.
- Documentation and Support: Assist with as-built documentation production and provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Pre-Installation Activities: Participate in design and engineering reviews to ensure proposed system designs align with post-build system activation, testing, and commissioning requirements.
- Travel and Collaboration: Travel to job sites as required to conduct duties and collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Regional Operations Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong technical skills in audiovisual systems, including hardware, software, and network configuration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
