We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital. As an RN in this role, you will provide direct patient care, assess and coordinate patient care plans, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provides direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Assesses and coordinates patient care plans, including developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure effective care delivery.
- Monitors and records patient condition, including vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives and contributes to a culture of safety and excellence within the Emergency Department.
- Current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, as required by individual department.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred.
