Join Our Team of Early Childhood Educators

We are currently looking for Lead Teachers to enhance our Infant/Toddler and Preschool programs across various campuses.

  • Bells Mill - Nestled in the Potomac suburbs, conveniently located near local elementary schools.
  • Montgomery Square - Situated on Falls Road, with easy access to major roadways.
  • Potomac Village - Centrally located in Potomac Village, with accessible public transportation options.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position Details: Full-time roles are available, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Your responsibilities will include addressing the unique needs of our students and promoting their independence in a nurturing and trusting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the educational growth and interests of preschool-aged children through a creative and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
  • Oversee the well-being and safety of preschool children at all times.
  • Support the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of each child within the classroom setting.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities within the classroom team.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community.
  • Implement classroom management strategies that foster a safe and positive learning atmosphere for all.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of relevant experience along with the following credentials:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor's degree in a different field with the MSDE 90-hour Preschool/Infant/Toddler Certification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of child development principles and effective instructional strategies.
  • Strong familiarity with MSDE regulations.
  • A warm, friendly, and composed demeanor.
  • Proficient in technology, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • A collaborative team player willing to work with others.

In accordance with Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all candidates must undergo and successfully complete a state and federal background check as a condition of employment.
