Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Durango. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care, physical examinations, and ancillary tests
  • Schedule clinic appointments and manage patient flow
  • Collect lab specimens and prepare patients for testing
  • Operate electrocardiograph and other diagnostic equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to patients, colleagues, and clinic visitors
Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate from an accredited program in medical assisting
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care or ambulatory care setting
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Strong computer skills, including EMR experience
