Administrative Support Professional

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Professional to join our team at Holland America-Princess Alaska-Yukon Land Operations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and providing exceptional customer service.
About the JobThis administrative assistant position plays a crucial role in supporting our management team and various departments. You will work closely with the General Manager on specialized tasks, including recognizing top-performing employees and celebrating our accomplishments and service scores. Additionally, you will be responsible for auditing and verifying transactions within the accounting world.
Key Responsibilities- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Input and track service score data and employee recognitions, as well as maintain records for the safety program.
- Communication and Coordination: Communicate with multi-levels of leadership for operational updates and events, and maintain and update employee communication and activity boards.
- Office Organization and Supplies: Organize, inventory, and maintain office and employee recognition supplies for hotel operations.
- Customer Service: Answer, screen, and redirect calls; take and deliver messages, and provide information to guests and colleagues.
- Event Planning and Marketing: Assist with employee relations functions, including planning, marketing, and organizing of events.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment background check that could include a credit check.
- Age Requirement: Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
- Sustainability and Safety: Participates in HAP's sustainability program and efforts by actively recycling (where available), reducing waste, and educating guests about our commitment to the environment. Additionally, participates in HAP's safety culture to ensure a safe workplace for all team members and a safe vacation experience for all guests.
