Offshore HSE Specialist

Tailing Inspection And Training Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore HSE Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

• Implement and Monitor HSE Management System: Develop, implement, and monitor the HSE Management System to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Promote HSE Culture: Foster a strong HSE culture within the organization by promoting safe work practices, leading by example, and encouraging employees to take ownership of HSE responsibilities.
• Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them.
• Review and Analyze HSE Reports: Review and analyze HSE reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Develop and Implement Emergency Preparedness Plans: Develop, implement, and test emergency preparedness plans to ensure the organization is prepared to respond to any emergency situation.
• Provide HSE Training and Support: Provide HSE training and support to employees, contractors, and clients to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in offshore construction safety, performed in accordance with applicable federal and industry codes and standards.
• Certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certificate is preferred.
• Skills: Computer and reporting skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Outlook), HUET (Helicopter Underwater Egress Training), TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential), Safe Gulf, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Training / AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Training, First Aid Training / BBP (Blood borne Pathogen) Training, SEMS (Safety and Environmental Management System) Training, Swing Rope & Personnel Basket, HAZMAT Transportation Training, NORM Survey Training.
