Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

UCHealth is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Poudre Valley Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Prioritize patient safety and well-being, utilizing evidence-based practice to inform care decisions.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, precepting new staff members and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in critical care nursing.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 6 months of ICU or PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
