About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education to patients and their families on disease management, medication, and other health-related topics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited or state board of nursing approved program.
- At least 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
