Key Responsibilities:

Enroll in a relevant academic program (robotics, electrical, industrial maintenance, etc.) while working part-time (minimum of 10 hours/week) in the maintenance department.

No prior experience is required.

Guaranteed employment upon graduation This role involves performing maintenance tasks throughout the facility. Responsibilities include addressing equipment failures, overseeing installations and startups, implementing process enhancements, and engaging in preventative maintenance programs to improve machine reliability and support capital projects.

Essential Duties:
Respond promptly to urgent production needs related to equipment.

Interpret diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications to disassemble, repair, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical systems.

Possess foundational knowledge of belts, sheaves, chains, sprockets, bearings, and lubrication standards.

Understand fasteners, thread types, and their appropriate applications.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage maintenance activities, including reviewing, executing, and documenting scheduled and unscheduled tasks.

Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical power transmission equipment. Familiarity with gearboxes, mechanical drives, variable speed applications, and motors.
Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, and air filtration devices.
Knowledge of pipe fitting, insulation, rigging, and the use of hand and power tools.
Commit to safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all.
Maintain quality work practices, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ensuring product quality.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be able to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
Must be able to read and understand technical documents.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Basic math skills are required.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
