Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Pick Up Stix. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a point of sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Point of Sale Operations: Accurately operate the point of sale system, handle customer transactions, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Teamwork: Support operations by performing any other duty as assigned, to ensure the restaurant is producing to standards.
- Quality Control: Follow all Quality Visitation Review requirements, work safe and smart at all times, and maintain high standards of food quality and portion control.
- Sales and Marketing: Suggestively sell to every Guest, tactfully and professionally resolve Guest complaints, and maintain Guest awareness at all times to ensure service is up to Pick Up Stix standards.
- Quality and Safety: Understand the flow of the restaurant, handle incoming phone calls, complete sidework consistently, and ensure the dining room is neat and clean at all times.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Less than high school education, or one to three months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend documents, ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees, and ability to calculate figures and amounts.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel, talk, hear, taste, smell, lift and move items weighing up to 10 pounds, work in a loud environment, and perform other physical demands as required.
Working Conditions:
The employee is required to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with frequent exposure to noise, heat, and physical demands. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the job duties.
