We are currently seeking a part-time Leasing Specialist to join our team.

Your Role

Your main objective will be to ensure optimal occupancy levels through effective leasing of units and the renewal of existing leases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate apartment leasing
  • Convert incoming calls into scheduled appointments
  • Conduct tours of the community for potential residents
  • Send follow-up thank-you notes to prospective residents
  • Pre-screen applicants
  • Review pending applications for submission
  • Communicate application status to applicants
  • Assist new residents with the move-in process
  • Review all necessary documentation with new residents
  • Process payments as directed
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of lease documentation (including applications and credit checks)
  • Deliver welcome gifts and inspect units prior to move-in
  • Issue keys to new residents
  • Manage lease renewals for current residents
  • Notify residents about lease expirations and discuss new lease terms
  • Handle move-out procedures for departing residents
  • Complete all required move-out documentation accurately and promptly
  • Collect keys and access passes from residents
  • Provide professional assistance to current residents with their inquiries and concerns
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents
  • Participate in resident events as required
  • Perform general office tasks such as opening and closing procedures, typing, filing, answering phones, and assisting with reports
  • Complete quality control tasks as assigned
  • Take on additional responsibilities or projects as needed
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a service or sales-oriented role
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with residents, colleagues, vendors, and supervisors
  • Self-driven, with a positive attitude and a strong sales orientation
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs to show apartments
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds; seek assistance for heavier items
  • A valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be required
