Your Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate apartment leasing
- Convert inquiries into scheduled tours
- Guide potential residents through the community
- Send appreciation notes to prospective tenants
- Pre-screen applicants
- Review pending applications for submission
- Inform applicants about their application status
- Assist new residents with their move-in process
- Review all essential documentation with new residents
- Process payments as directed by the Assistant Manager
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of lease documents (including applications and credit assessments)
- Deliver welcome gifts and inspect units prior to move-in
- Distribute keys
- Renew leases for current residents
- Notify residents about lease expirations and discuss new lease terms
- Assist residents with move-out procedures
- Complete all necessary move-out documentation accurately and promptly
- Collect all keys, passes, etc. from residents
- Provide effective assistance to current residents to address their concerns professionally
- Maintain positive relationships with residents
- Participate in resident events unless otherwise instructed
- Perform general office tasks such as opening/closing the office, typing, filing, answering calls, and assisting with weekly reports
- Execute quality control procedures as directed
- Take on additional responsibilities or projects as assigned
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a service or sales-oriented role
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with residents, colleagues, vendors, and supervisors
- Self-driven, with a positive demeanor and a passion for sales
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Ability to navigate stairs while showing apartments to prospective residents
- Lift items up to 25 pounds; for heavier items, seek assistance from maintenance
- A valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be required
