Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
Job Description:
The Senior Fundraising Director will oversee the implementation of a strategic approach to fundraising efforts, including major gifts, planned giving, and kind donations. This individual will lead a team of development professionals in securing financial support from businesses, organizations, and individuals, while strengthening relationships with existing donors and identifying new opportunities for growth.
Key responsibilities include creating and implementing a comprehensive development plan, managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including staff, volunteers, donors, and external partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Five years of management experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of success in securing major gifts and developing effective donor relationships;
- In-depth knowledge of fundraising theory and practice, donor acknowledgment processes, stewardship program design and implementation, and special events coordination;
- A Master's degree in a related field, such as non-profit management or business administration;
- Excellent organizational, analytical, technical, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- A strong commitment to the mission and values of the University Medical Center of El Paso;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, self-motivated, flexible, thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
