About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at SMI Imaging LLC. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for operating mammography equipment and performing various procedures to ensure high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mammography equipment and perform procedures to produce high-quality images
  • Develop and evaluate film for technical quality, including density, contrast, definition, and distortion
  • Explain procedures and educate women about the importance of regular mammography in preventive breast health
  • Prepare and maintain records and files, and clean and adjust equipment as needed
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in radiology
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Requirements
  • Registration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
  • Current Radiology and Mammography license in the state
  • Valid hands-on CPR certification
