Position Overview:

The Enterprise Architect plays a crucial role in overseeing the execution of projects that integrate various systems within the Quality, Regulatory, and Engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful delivery of complex projects by providing expert technical guidance in the development and maintenance of application systems.
  • Contribute to the formulation of application system specifications and lead the development, testing, and implementation of effective and economical application solutions.
  • Uphold compliance with relevant Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  • Act as a technical authority, guiding project teams in the development and implementation of significant new products and operational enhancements.
  • Conduct research and provide technical insights on the adoption and integration of emerging technologies and their potential business implications.
  • Establish standards and procedures, disseminating findings through presentations, white papers, and other communication methods.
  • Oversee design validation, performance monitoring, and capacity planning; participate in the installation, testing, and upgrading of software releases.
  • Evaluate and recommend new software solutions, utilities, and tools.
  • Define the strategy for the implementation of new technologies.
  • Manage configuration responsibilities in specialized systems related to document/change management and learning.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years in IT, with at least 5 years focused on developing and executing technical strategies.
  • Proficient in Network and Security Monitoring Applications.
  • Familiarity with Facility and Space Management Applications.
  • Experience with Content Management and Engineering Drawing Management Applications.
  • Knowledge of various technologies including SOLID Works, Documentum, OpenText Content Suite, Manhattan, and Meridian Engineering Document Management.
  • Experience in implementing software within a structured Quality-based Software Life Cycle process.
